If I may rephrase your point in one sentence it would be "Strategic design is more important than Tactical Design". And I agree with you here as Strategic Design is the key aspect of the DDD (you can even find my remark in the article that "I am talking only about “Tactical Design” as in my opinion “Strategical Design” is useful in any cases"). Maybe "Challenges implementing Tactical Design of the DDD" is more accurate name for the article.

If we refer to the Agile Manifesto - one of the key aspects is "Working Software" and I hope you will agree with me that it is impossible to build it ignoring Tactical Design and concentrating only on the Strategic Design (you can not grow the forest not knowing how to grow the single tree).

My point is to be aware of the technical challenges in order to bring the right questions to the discussion with the business people.
